The Young Turks Announce the Launch of The Point


The Young Turks (TYT) announces that it has launched The Point, (http://www.youtube.com/thepoint) on December 15, 2011, the first program for their new YouTube channel Town Square, as part of YouTube’s new original channels initiative. Produced by Cenk Uygur and TYT, Town Square is a political news and commentary channel. The Point tackles the issues of the day with a rotating panel hosted by Uygur addressing videos from contributors. New episodes of the show will post each week.


Each episode of The Point will focus on a few topics from that week’s news that reflect the passions of contributors who will make videos exclusively for the show. In addition to Uygur, the show will feature analysts and newsmakers from the worlds of entertainment, politics, government, business and breaking news.
